First reading of the Bill on Cooperation of Montenegro with Expatriates

At the 51st meeting of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, the Committee members – within the constructive discussion with representatives of the Proposal for the Law – gave a number of suggestions aimed at improving the text and defining the more quality Bill on Cooperation of Montenegro with Expatriates. The Committee stated that the text of the Proposal for the Law on Cooperation of Montenegro with Expatriates was a quality legislative proposal and that there was a room for amendments regarding certain particularities.

Following the discussion, the Committee decided to schedule another meeting, in order to establish the text of amendment to the Proposal for the Law on Cooperation of Montenegro with Expatriates. The meeting was attended by representatives of the proposer for the Law – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Mr Igor Lukšić and Director of the Diaspora Administration Mr Predrag Mitrović.
