Medical supplies delivered to Montenegro

A contingent of medical equipment, which businessman Stathis Petros donated to the Montenegrin health system, was delivered to Podgorica tonight.

Prvi kontigent vrijedne medicinske opreme stigao u CG (28.03.2020.)

Chief of Office of Prime Minister Dragoljub Bulatović noted that equipment arrived at the right time, when our existing resources were running out and for that reason the equipment has no price.
“Three and a half tonnes of protective equipment will mean safety for our health care professionals, but also for members of all frontline services in defence of coronavirus. This is an opportunity to thank once again, on behalf of the Government and in my own name, businessman Stathis Petros for responding to the personal request of Prime Minister Duško Marković and for succeeding to provide, with the assistance of Mohammed Al Shaibani, all of this to us within a short period of time. This contingent of assistance is actually a confirmation of the Government’s ability, potential and determination to protect every citizen, every family and all of us from this vicious epidemic,” Bulatović said.

Head of the Crisis Operational Staff for Health Prof. Dr Ranko Lazović said at the airport that the amount of arrived equipment will meet the needs of the Montenegrin health system in the next 3-4 weeks, when we expect the peak of epidemic.
