Montenegrin Council for cooperation with emigrants: Constitutive session held, board appointed

The Constitutive session of Montenegrin Council for cooperation with emigrants was held on September 27th 2016. At the beginning of the session, the mandates of the Council’s members were confirmed, according to the legislation. After that, at the ceremonial part of the session, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic and Director of Diaspora Authority Predrag Mitrovic gave speeches, as well as Mayor of Podgorica Capital City Slavoljub Stijepovic.

In the second part, afrer speaches of Montenegrin Authorities representatives, the Rules of Procedure of the Council were adopted and the Board members were elected.

  • Mirko Zečević (Serbia) – Board of strengthening cultural and national identity
  • Prof. dr Milorad Nikčević (Croatia) – Board for Science and Education
  • Dejan Šestović (France) – Board for sports
  • Sabrija Vulić – Board for informing
  • Mihailo Mandić (Australia) –  Board for protection of rights and status of the Emigrants
  • Refik Radončić – (USA) Board for economy partnership
  • Mirza Redžić (Bosnia-Herzegovina) – Board for European and Euro-Atlantic Integrations
  • Vladislav Popović (Cyprus) – Board for legal issues
  • Odbora za zdravstvo i zdravstvenu zaštitu
  • Slobodan Drakić (Serbia) – Board for health and healthcare
  • Odbor za ravnopravnost polova
