On January 1st, TV Montena announced to shut down. Montena used to be independent media and ended their operations after 15 years. Montena significantly effected Montenegrin media scene and greatly contributed to Montenegrin independence process as well as liberal attitudes and independent TV production. On that TV station, instead of regular TV schema, a farewell letter was aired.
